East Central Railway has launched a major rail infrastructure push in Jharkhand, inviting bids for a new double-line track under the Son Nagar–Andal 3rd and 4th Line Project.
The EPC package covers the Koderma Detour section under Dhanbad Division and includes viaducts, road overbridges, road flyovers, tunnels, cut-and-cover structures, earthwork and other associated works.
The project is aimed at strengthening rail connectivity and boosting freight-handling capacity along the corridor.
The bid submission deadline is January 5, 2027.
